As part of the launch of its activities and the execution of its first contract, the startup STORABELLE is looking for its future Director of the Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Department.
Storabelle designs and implements the transformation of thermal power plants scheduled for shutdown into massive electricity storage objects. Energy drawn from the grid is stored in thermal form in molten salt tanks (Carnot batteries), then returned to the grid by reusing the existing power plant’s turboalternator to produce electricity. Experience in the field of water-steam cycle power plants and molten salt energy storage technologies are considered assets for this position.

Main tasks :
- Supervision of design activities for projects in progress, tenders and R&D programs in the Electrical, Control and Instrumentation scope (one-line diagrams and schematics, power balances, list of electrical consumers, design and drawings of electrical networks, I.G. drawings of electrical and control rooms, control system architecture).
- Draw up quantities for power and control cables, and associated cable trays
- Draw up any supplier consultation files required to prepare bids
- Estimate the electrical, control and instrumentation (C&I) package as part of bids.
- Provide or supervise the drafting of technical specifications
- Manage and develop internal resources
- Define external resource requirements and manage their activities
- Manage any subcontracting
- Manage the Quality process for departmental activities
- Ensure activity reporting to engineering management
- Monitor progress of design work
- Manage any subcontracting
- Liaise with various departments.
- Identify areas for technological development
- Propose necessary investments in resources (human or technical).

Skills required:
- Professional qualifications: BAC +5 in electrical engineering
- 10 years’ professional experience in a similar or related position
- Technical skills: HV, MV, LV, Electrical BOP and C&I
- Languages: English read, written, spoken
